Spring Break finally started for me... but I'm stuck with less shit to do than before.

Since I can't drive, no trips to anywhere really interesting. Whereas my friends are all suddenly spreading out to seperate, remote corners of the earth for the week. 1. Have some sort of balance of procrastination and OCD that has made me never do homework at home for like, the last 5 years, but still get it done before it's due.
2. If the above doesn't work out, I somehow can talk my way into more time or just plain get out of it.
3. I almost always walk home if weather permits it. Been doing that for a couple years now, and it's about 3 miles to my house.
4. Have some pretty crazy indecision on pointless things.

My birthday was yesterday, so I finally got a bit of spending money, Hotel Dusk, and going to get a used car. Most importantly though, first steak of the year and in like, 3 months. <3

Thankfully, my school also finally got it's water fixed. Something was broken on Thursday and still was being tested on Friday. We basically couldn't drink or wash hands, so bathroom was out too. It was hilarious though, there were signs at the water fountains taped there that said "DO NOT USE" but then there was a line of like, 6 people at them who STILL used it. Which sort of explains why we almost got out of school today because almost 15% of all students were absent/sick. >_>

Man, yesterday was just awesome enough to warrant an LJ entry. A couple friends threw our annual concert at another friend's barn, and this time, we got about 50 people into it. So, the main band playing was two juniors who's band name was Counterpart, while me and my other friends (The Nich T Experience) were opening for them. Ended up playing some of the guitar parts for Smoke on the Water, Tribute, and Wonderboy. XD

Then, at the end of Counterpart's own songs, they got pressured into doing an encore. But, they needed someone to do the lyrics for it, since none of them could remember the ones for Crazy by Gnarls Barkley. Since I knew them, I volunteered and got to be main vocalist for the encore~

Still need to work on more guitar though, since my other friend in the same grade ended up being able to play most of Free Bird for everyone. Without a slide. Which I'm really not sure if that's supposed to be booed at, or if it's freaking amazing. >_>
